I saw a sign at the front desk when I was checking out that parking was $10/night. This is happening not just at this property, but all across the travel industry. Whether small things like this or rooms not being ready because not enough housekeepers I am starting to get tired of the covid excuse as a way to eliminate amenities and service. However, "due to covid" they removed them. While I travel with tablet and laptop, I still like to use the computers in the lobby area. This is not enough to have breakfast at the restaurant so I got a breakfast sandwich at the little Starbucks/Coffee place (only open in morning for breakfast) which was acceptable.
As a Diamond member I received a $15 food credit (Gold receive as well). I'm sure because of staffing issues in housecleaning (I waited 30 minutes before one was ready). I was a little soured because room wasn't available when I checked-in at 2pm. The bed is comfortable and wifi worked great. They have an indoor/outdoor pool but the area is uninviting (no jacuzzi). The outside grounds need improvement and in general, the hotel is starting to look tired. Hotel is very close to the airport which is nice, but that is one of the few positive things. I have stayed at this hotel a few times and I am less and less impressed after each stay.
